Cookie Notice
This notice describes the browser technologies implemented on the Rivonia website.
Privacy information and choices
When you first visit the public site, a short privacy notice appears with links to the full Privacy and Cookie Notices. After you dismiss it, a functional preference cookie rivonia_privacy_notice records only that you acknowledged the notice, for up to 180 days. It does not identify you or track how you use the free tools. If optional advertising measurement is configured, you can allow or decline it before those cookies are set. Declining does not prevent you from using the tools or submitting a research request.
Request confirmations
After a request is successfully stored, the site sets a functional confirmation cookie: rivonia_receipt_apply for an Early Demand Review or rivonia_receipt_diagnostic for the Diagnostic. It allows the corresponding thank-you page to check that a request was received without putting your name or email in its URL.
Each cookie contains a signed request reference and time, not your submitted contact details. It lasts for one hour, is restricted to the thank-you paths, is inaccessible to page JavaScript and is sent only in the same-site context. HTTPS deployments mark it Secure. No confirmation cookie is set if storage fails.
Blocking or clearing this cookie can prevent the thank-you page from recognising your request. It does not delete an accepted database record or cancel an email job. A Diagnostic download link you already have remains usable.
Campaign information
Permitted first-entry campaign labels and source information stay in page memory across internal navigation. This existing campaign context does not use localStorage, sessionStorage or a tracking cookie. A full reload or new document starts a new entry context using any permitted campaign information in that URL. Links from Rivonia landing subdomains can carry those labels and the landing-page URL to the shared Review form. Attribution is stored with an accepted request. OpenAI conversion measurement is described below and in our Privacy Notice.
Advertising measurement and your choice
Where configured, Rivonia uses the OpenAI Measurement Pixel only after you allow measurement. It helps us understand whether our advertising leads to accepted Early Demand Review requests. Declining measurement does not prevent you from using the website or either request form.
After consent, the Pixel may set first-party __oppref, which stores OpenAI click attribution information with a requested lifetime of 30 days, and __obref, a browser reference used for measurement matching with a requested lifetime of 365 days. Browser settings may shorten these lifetimes.
We remember your Allow or Decline choice for 180 days in a first-party preference cookie, rivonia_measurement. It stores only your choice, not a visitor identifier. You can change your choice here at any time. Declining after previously allowing measurement disables future Pixel measurement and removes its measurement cookies. It does not undo an event already sent.
Once loaded, the OpenAI SDK may also remember its consent state in __oaiq_consent (a requested 30-day cookie) and oaiq_consent in localStorage to communicate withdrawal between browser tabs. These store a consent choice, not an advertising identifier.
Measurement preferences are available when JavaScript is enabled.
The server may also send an accepted Review conversion event with permitted click attribution to OpenAI, independently of the browser measurement choice. It includes the Pixel browser reference only when measurement is allowed and a valid cookie is present. It does not include your raw form answers. See our Privacy Notice.
The website does not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag. The optional marketing checkbox on the Diagnostic form is separate from measurement consent. It does not enable tracking or start an automated marketing sequence.
